Google One-Tap is a modern, streamlined authentication method that significantly reduces friction during sign-up and login. Unlike the standard “Sign In with Google” OAuth button, Google One-Tap appears automatically as a floating prompt, enabling instant login with a single click. This increases user onboarding speed, improves conversion rates, and enhances overall user experience.
Since ARMember currently supports only the standard Google OAuth via the Social Connect add-on, we request adding native support for Google One-Tap (as documented here: https://developers.google.com/identity/gsi/web/guides/display-google-one-tap .
This feature would be extremely valuable for membership websites aiming to optimize login/signup flows and reduce drop-offs. Implementing Google One-Tap (or offering hooks/filters for custom integration) would greatly expand ARMember’s usability for modern authentication experiences.
